A Snack That Goes Down Smooth

Looking for a quick, healthy snack? Want dessert but don't want ice cream or cookies? Make yourself a smoothie!

Fresh or frozen fruit- doesn't matter. Fruit can be expensive, especially when it's out of season. We check the frozen fruit section whenever we're at the grocery store and stock up when our favorites are on sale. Costco also has giant bags that are good to have around :)

Put some ice in your blender, add your fruit of choice. I used strawberries, peaches and blueberries this time. Add some vanilla yogurt and a little orange juice:


Blend and enjoy...don't forget the party straw :)


Freeze the extra (if there is any!) in a tupperware container. Take it out before you head to the gym and it will be thawed by the time you get home! Or move it to the fridge before you start dinner and have it later for dessert!

I'm a big fan of powdered sugar in the mix also. I know, not as healthy but so delicious!
